인터넷 익스플로러, 파이어폭스에서 로그인이 필요한 정보, 아이디와 비밀번호를 저장하고 자동 입력하는 기능을 갖춘 프로그램 입니다. 알툴즈의 알패스와 비슷한 프로그램이라고 보시면 됩니다.
비밀번호는 256비트로 암호화해서 라스트패스 서버에 저장됩니다. 따라서 한번 입력한 비밀번호는 프로그램을 지우거나 윈도우를 새로 깔아도 서버에 유지되는 것이 장점입니다. 서버에 저장된 비밀번호는 내보내기 기능을 통해 PC에 저장할 수 도 있습니다.

비슷한 프로그램으로 알패스, 키패스(KeePass), 패스팩(PassPack) 등이 있습니다.

알패스는 IE(인터넷 익스플로러)밖에 지원을 하지 않지만 라스트패스는 모든 웹브라우저에서 사용이 가능합니다.
